We are currently looking for a Trainee (6 months) for our Technologies & IP law department (Un stagiaire pour notre département en droit des Technologies & IP) Your Mission: You will join our team to work on various types of files providing legal advice to a wide range of international and multi-national clients, private equity houses, financial institutions and institutional clients. Your duties will include: • Involvement in several stimulating files with the team (including liaising with external officials) which will allow you to discover and in turn apply the best technical methods in respect of international legal issues • Attending on certain client meetings or calls in order to gain familiarity with Customer relationship management • Undertaking research on several topics and distilling such research into pragmatic advice • Being involved in a wide variety of files including, but not limited to, problematics related to data protection (GDPR), IT related matters, contractual matters, e-commerce, media law, telecommunication and intellectual property • Being involved in the development of the department through visibility actions, such as legal news or conferences • Following the trends of the area, both in Luxembourg and the European Union We offer: From the moment that you join our team, we aspire to make your work experience an outstanding and engaging one by offering a personalized mentoring program allowing you to: • Gain insight into the various activities of an international law firm • Develop unique expertise and exposures to different practice areas • Attend training seminars and create opportunities for personal progression • Acquire practical experience which will enhance your professional development • Discover a friendly work environment that invites you to expand valuable knowledge and experience, explore opportunities, and discover a place for you.
